RICK ALIMONTI has been defending tort claims against aviation clients since 1990, including all aspects of discovery, motion practice, trial, and appeal. He regularly handles airlines’ passenger claims as well as claims in product liability, premises liability, and aviation insurance coverage. Rick is a member of the mediation panel for the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York and was recently appointed to the S.D.N.Y. Mediator Advisory Committee. He is a two-time past co-chair of the American Bar Association’s (Section of Litigation) Committee on Aviation Litigation and has held multiple positions in the leadership of the ABA Section of Litigation. Rick has been increasingly called upon as a speaker on aviation law as well as on more generic topics, including ethics, and ethics in negotiation and mediation. He is also an active private pilot.
